NHS Human Services/High Point Center is presently recruiting dedicated individuals in Clearfield, Jefferson and Clarion Counties to open their heart and their home to local children in need of a warm, loving and supportive home. Foster parents are flexible and tolerant. Have a passion to care for children. Are great role models and have the ability to nurture and accept a child even when his or her behavior is challenging. NHS/High Point Center foster parents receive intensive training along with 24-hour professional support. Approved foster families who complete all licensing requirements will receive a generous tax-exempt stipend of $35 to $70/per day depending on the level of care of NHS clients in exchange for providing a stable environment and treatment to children placed in their home.
